The Cornell Lab Of Ornithology’s Student Innovators, Dreamers, and Leaders

After you watch the video above you might recognize some faces from the Cornell expedition to Borneo that we featured about a month ago, and be introduced to the faces of other friends that I made in ornithology class several years ago and have kept up with through soccer, squash, and biology classes we’ve taken together.

I’m proud to be part of the greater network of student contributors to the Lab of Ornithology, and of course look forward to seeing my friends’ names in the author lists of important scientific papers in the future. If you’re interested in learning more about student research at the Lab, check out the 2013 Parade of Students footage on Cornell’s All About Birds blog, complete with a handy index in which you’ll see some of Raxa Collective’s Ithaca-based birders’ names!
